    Math makes the world go around!



    Mrs. Eberlin believes everyone needs to learn as much math as possible to be successful in today's world.  No matter what profession a person chooses they will need some type of math.  She also believes that every student can learn math.  It just needs to be presented in the right way for a student to be successful.

    Did you know?
         Mrs. Eberlin was born and raised in Sullivan County.  After graduation from Sullivan County High School in 1987, she attended Penn State University where she recieved a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 1991.  Mrs. Eberlin returned to school and received a second Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education/Mathematics from Bloomsburg University in 1995.  She then worked for Caroline County Board of Education in Maryland for three years as a high school math teacher.  Mrs. Eberlin missed the mountains of Pennsylvania and returned to Sullivan County to substitute for a year before being hired at Sullivan County High School full-time for the 1999-2000 school year.  This will be her 21st year teaching at SCHS.  While employed at SCHS, she has served as a class advisor, junior high and varsity basketball cheerleading coach, student government advisor, school-to-work coordinator, new teacher mentor, treasurer of the SCHS Staff Association, and member of the professional development committee.  Since working at SCHS, Mrs. Eberlin has returned to school where she received her Master's Degree in Education in 2003 from Wilkes University.  Mrs. Eberlin plans to stay in Sullivan County and continue doing what she loves to do, teach and influence the youth of the county.
