Welcome to the Sullivan County School District! Home of the Griffins! Here at Sullivan County, we may be small but we are very proud of what we have to offer. We continue to provide a well-rounded education program for students that allow them to exceed in academics, arts, athletics, vocational studies and many other areas of interest.
Sullivan County School District has strong academic programs with a number of offerings for our students with the core academics always a priority. In addition to the rich curriculum in core subjects, our curriculum exposes students to music and the arts in addition to challenging them with rigorous Advanced Placement (AP) and Dual Enrollment classes in many areas including history, science, English, mathematics, psychology and business. Students may also choose to attend the Northern Tier Career Center. The Sullivan County School district is very proud of the accomplishments our students have achieved scholastically, artistically and athletically.Students have opportunities to participate in a variety of clubs and activities such as FBLA, the reading competition, the computer fair and K'nex where our students have competed and placed at the regional and state level. We certainly could not have accomplished many of these accomplishments without the wonderful support of the community and parent volunteers! Each student in grades 3 through 12 is issued a chromebook to support his/her academic needs. Our staff's commitment and dedication to providing outstanding opportunities for our students is evident every day. We have a safe and secure learning setting that promotes a positive learning experience for our students. The atmosphere in the buildings promotes a caring and fostering environment for our students. All students are encouraged to work hard and do their best both in and out of the classroom.Thank you for your continued support for our students and the Sullivan County School District. It is my honor to be part of the working community of Sullivan County School District. I believe that together we can make a positive impact on your students' lives!Sincerely,Mrs. Patricia Cross
