Biomass

The Sullivan County Renewal Fuel Facility was built in 2011 as part of the Laporte Campus renovations.  The facility became fully operational during the winter months of the 2011-2012 school year.  The facility is fully automated in operation and has the capacity to provide all of the heating needs on the Laporte campus and runs entirely on fuel harvested from the forests in the region.
