The Sullivan County School District campus will be closed until Monday, November 2 due to a confirmed Covid-19 case within the Sullivan County School community. School will dismiss Monday, October 26 at noon. Students will continue schoolwork with the packets that were released in early October and attendance will be taken according to the guidance sent out with the packets. The Sullivan County School District will not comment on health related information of individuals within the District.
The Sullivan County School District is posting a letter from Northern Tier Career Center Director Gary Martell regarding a confirmed Covid-19 case for a staff member at NTCC. The Sullivan County School District will continue operating on an early dismissal schedule for students on Fridays at 1PM through January 2021. Additionally, three Act 80 days have been approved for staff curriculum and development. Those days are Friday, October 23, Friday, November 20, and Friday, December 18. Students do not report to school on those dates.

Sullivan County School District is excited to announce the following dates are locked in for an emergency medical responder (EMR) course in connection with Greater Valley EMS and sponsorship from the Laporte/Eagles Mere Lions Club. Training sessions will occur on 9/28, 9/30, 10/3, 10/5, 10/7, 10/12, 10/14, 10/19, 10/21, 10/26, 10/28, 11/2, 11/4, and 11/9 from 5:30PM to 10:30PM. Sullivan County High School students can earn school credit for completing the course. Stay tuned for more information.
