The Sullivan County School District will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
Due to the inclement weather, this evening’s School Board Reorganization Meeting will be held virtually. The meeting will begin at 6:30 PM, and the access link has been provided below.

Sullivan County School District will operate on a 2-hour delay today, Wednesday, November 12, 2025. This delay provides additional time for road crews to address icy conditions and drifting snow on secondary roads.

Make-up Picture Day is Wednesday, November 5 from 9::30 - noon. Please bring your old pictures if you are looking to have them redone. If you missed the orgiinal picture day, bring your packet along with you. Extra packets are available in the offices.

SCSD is proud to share that students in grades 4–6 and 7–12 have been selected to serve on the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council for the 2025–2026 school year!
These students were chosen through a competitive process that required students to write an essay highlighting their leadership and advocacy skills. The council will meet monthly to provide input on important district topics and ensure that student voice plays a meaningful role in decision-making.
Congratulations to our student leaders! We can’t wait to hear your ideas and perspectives!
SCES welcomed America250PA to our district today! Students in grades K–2 enjoyed hearing a story about Pennsylvania read by special guest readers, including our County Commissioners, Probation Department, District Attorney’s Office, Senator Yaw's Office, Officer Reeves, and the Pennsylvania State Police. Students in grades 3–6 participated in an engaging assembly with “Betsy Ross,” learning about our nation’s early history and the creation of the American flag.
This event celebrated both literacy and civic pride, helping students connect with our state and nation’s history as we look ahead to the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026. A huge thank-you to America250PA and all of our amazing community partners for making today such a memorable experience for our students! ❤️🤍💙
