Our high school students had the opportunity to learn about MiKayla’s Voice, an inspiring organization that promotes inclusion, kindness, and the power of every voice. We were also proud to have our own Dr. Randi Zwatty speak about exceptionalities and how we can celebrate the unique strengths of all learners. Students will soon have the chance to mentor younger peers and participate in a collaborative art project that highlights inclusion across our district

Students in Mrs. Walker's science class explored the question: “How do things fall around the world?” during their LEGO® Education “Down with Gravity” lesson last week.
Through hands-on building, students created a camera operator and gimbal—a tool that stays upright no matter how it’s moved. They discovered how gravity pulls objects toward the center of the Earth, keeping the heaviest parts of their designs stable. After testing their builds, students designed creative scenes showing gravity in action across different settings and connected their discoveries to real-world examples.
Learning about science is even better when you can build it, test it, and see it in motion!
