Sullivan County School District Welcomes New Elementary Principal — Stacy Stabryla
The Sullivan County School District is thrilled to announce the appointment of Stacy Stabryla as the new Elementary Principal of Sullivan County Elementary School. With nearly two decades of diverse experience in education, Stacy brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and proven leadership to our school community.
Stacy's career spans roles as a special education teacher, district PBIS coach, interim special education director, and athletic director, among others. She has been a driving force behind successful school-wide positive behavior support systems and has a strong track record of mentoring teachers to use data effectively to improve student outcomes. Her commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive, and academically rigorous environments aligns perfectly with our mission to help every child thrive.
An accomplished educator, Stacy holds a Master’s degree in Special Education, certifications in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education Supervision, and is currently completing a Doctoral program in Educational Leadership. She is also recognized as a two-time presenter at the National Autism Conference and was recently nominated for Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year in 2024.
Stacy is dedicated to collaboration, student-centered decision-making, and engaging families as partners in education. We are confident that under her leadership, Sullivan County Elementary will continue to grow as a vibrant, welcoming community where every student feels valued and empowered.
