School Bus Safety Reminders
Pennsylvania's School Bus Stopping Law
-Motorists must stop at least 10 feet away from school buses that have their red lights flashing and stop arm activated.
-Motorists must stop when they are behind a bus, meeting the bus or approaching an intersection where a bus is stopped.
-Motorists following or traveling alongside a school bus must also stop until the red lights have stopped flashing, the stop arm is withdrawn, and all children have reached safety.
-If physical barriers such as grassy medians, guide rails or concrete median barriers separate oncoming traffic from the bus, motorists in the opposing lanes may proceed without stopping.
-Do not proceed until all the children have reached a place of safety.

Please be aware we are experiencing some technical issues with the online form platform. Our technology department is working diligently to address the problem. We will send out a notice when the forms are available. You are also welcome to complete and return paper copies. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact the school.

The vision of the Sullivan County School District is to instill in all students the desire to learn, create, and apply critical thinking for a lifetime through just, fair, and caring quality instruction and leadership while reflecting community values.

High School class schedules are now available on Plus Portals and a paper copy will be mailed out today. Starting Monday, August 11, you can contact Mrs. Eberlin for scheduling changes. 570-946-7001
