The Sullivan County School District will be closed on Friday, November 22nd, due to current and predicted winter weather. The make-up day for the closure will be Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024.

CONGRATULATIONS to Zoey Reese for an overall finish of 6th place at Cross Country Districts today, Thursday October 24, 2024. Zoey had a time of 21:35 and will be the first Sullivan County runner to qualify for States since 2014. Paige Jordan placed 11th with a time of 22:20 Adilynn Thibodeault placed 14th with a time of 22:28 and Emily Guare finished 30th with a time of 26:29. For the boys' Chase Preston finished 10th with a time of 18:20, Carter Blasi finished 16th with a time of 19:12, Andrew Kapec finished 19th with a time of 19:33, Isaiah Botsford finished 28th with a time of 20:33, Logen Knight finished 36 with a time of 24:17 and Stan Okolowski finished 37th with a time of 24:29. Way to go Griffins!
Congratulations to the varsity girls' soccer team for their 3-2 win over Montgomery yesterday, 10/22/24. Lauren Minnier, Ansley Baldwin, and August Harney each scored one goal to defeat the Red Raiders. The Lady Griffins will play at Mid West on Saturday, October 26th at 12pm against South Williamsport. The varsity boys' soccer team will play at 2pm also on Saturday against Benton. Both games will be on Field #2 at 10 Dock Hill Road, Middleburg, PA. The Sullivan County School Board will host a special meeting on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 6:00 PM. The meeting will be hosted in the Sullivan County High School Auditorium. The agenda for the meeting is posted on the District website at www.sulcosd.k12.pa.us/agendas in the October 2024 folder.
Mildred Bridge Detour - Bus Route Updates. The following changes will be in effect during the bridge construction project in Mildred starting Monday, October 21, 2024. The afternoon routes that will be impacted are SC3, SC4, and SC6. These routes will have the same morning pickup times. In the afternoon, the dropoff times will be delayed for students by approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Activity route SC4 will be impacted by the detour as well. The SC4 Activity route will start as normal through the dropoff at the Mildred Dandy. After that, SC4 Activity will return to Rt. 220 via Old Bernice and run the activity route backwards. An updated route description for SC4 Activity with estimated times is available for review on the school website at: https://www.sulcosd.k12.pa.us/activitybus.
