The SCHS Music Department is thrilled to have Makayla Bedford representing SCHS at this year's PMEA District 8 Band Festival! Last month, she competed in a grueling audition process against students from all over the Midstate. Not only has she qualified, but she also came within less than one percentage point of being the top score of all students that day, beating out 20 other students auditioning on her instrument! This is a testament of the determination and hard work that got her to where she is, and a great example of what a band member can achieve. Congrats Makayla!
